Your pelvic floor is the deep base of your core — and it responds to coordinated breath and controlled movement, not just 'kegels.' We rebuild it the way the research supports: gentle, progressive Reformer work that reconnects breath, deep abdominals, and floor together.
Pre & Postpartum Pilates is the number-one prescription to prepare a woman's body for birth and to rebuild her strength afterwards.
The why
Pregnancy and birth change how your core and pelvic floor carry load, so coming back is about rebuilding the foundation, not bouncing back. Pilates is widely considered a top prescription for preparing for birth and recovering after it — and we progress at your pace with specialized pre/postpartum programming.

Hormonal shifts cause change in the way a woman builds strength and recovers after exercise. Our clinically-informed, low-impact approach is designed with this season in mind. Pilates and aerial recommendations are customized to the client in front of us.

Jenn built AER after recovering from a severe low-back injury herself. We rebuild trust in your body with controlled, alignment-first, rehabilitative movement. All of our teachers go through regular mentorship with Jenn to review clinical approaches to a variety of injuries.

We love working with hypermobile clients — over half of our clients have some amount of hypermobility, actually. Reformer Pilates is like joint nutrition for hypermobile bodies. We'll explain this in person when we meet you.

Yes, absolutely! Our clients range in age from 15 to 85, and we enjoy working with all of them equally. There's actually more Pilates research on people over 60 than any other age group — the benefits for bone density and preventing osteoporosis are massive. And yes, you can try the silks too!

The AER Method Pilot Study.
An 18-week research initiative exploring how a structured combination of Pilates and aerial silks training supports women's strength, confidence, and control — both on the ground and in the air.
Participants train at least twice a week in the combined Reformer Pilates and Aerial Silks track on a discounted study membership, beginning with a 30-minute baseline assessment in the AER Method Lab.

Meet Jenn
Clinically trained. Globally taught.
Jenn Vigh holds an MSc in Sports Therapy from London and multiple Pilates certifications from her favorite educators across the globe. She's worked synchronously with physios at APPI Health Group in Hampstead Heath, taught retreat-style workshops across Europe, worked and studied in Melbourne, and brought it all home to South Austin to create Aer Pilates.
